Here is a vitally important petition
to the U.S. Senate to impeach George Bush and key administration officials.
Bush has committed so many impeachable offences against the U.S. Constitution and against international law. His lies to Americans to get them to support his war on Iraq is a major impeachable offence. His continuing to make illegal, unjustified war every day, resulting in the death or maiming of thousands of Americans is an impeachable offence. |

People may not be aware of how deeply the criminal neocon system of beliefs have permeated the Bush Administration. It is very pervasive, very committed, criminally insane, and convinced they are right. They have also committed themselves to the potential pre-emptive use of nuclear weapons against any non-nuclear states they decide to claim are 'suspected of having WMD and suspected of plotting to attack the U.S.' |

Not during the Civil War, not during the great depression, and not during the Second World War or the Cold War which followed. Until today, gross incompetence, abuse of power, corruption, corporatocracy, and federal insolvency could be checked and reversed by balanced and separated governmental powers, and at the ballot box by a citizenry informed and provoked by an alert and independent media. Now all branches of government and the mainstream media are dominated by the wealthy elites in control of a single political party. Can you believe this? ..... bushwatch |

... U.S. strategy is to create the 'so-called ' terrorist threat' which can then be used to justify targeting any nation the U.S. selects in its endless war on terror (GWOT). By attacking various countries, which they justify by lies, as in Iraq, the Bush Administration makes an endless supply of enemies. Bush and his neocons then label them as 'terrorists'. They blame neighbouring nations for helping these 'terrorists' and proceed with the next phase in the U.S. PNAC expansionist plan. |

Mankind has created a number of ways which could be used to trigger an extinction process, as assessed by this article by editors of the Bulletin Of Atomic Scientists in Dec 2004. Some factors not assessed, even more relevant today are: 1. The possibility of an unbalanced, rogue and/or ideologically-driven government gaining power and deliberately implementing a strategy of war and terror attacks which then escalate into a self-extinction process. Some suspect this may already be happening.... |

Escalation Scenarios Spiraling to World Nuclear War |

A world nuclear war is one that involves most or all nuclear powers releasing a large proportion of their nuclear weapons at targets in nuclear, and perhaps non-nuclear, states. Such a war could be initiated accidentally, aggressively or pre-emptively and could continue and spread through these means or by retaliation by a party attacked by nuclear weapons. While some speak of "limited nuclear war," it is likely that any nuclear war will quickly escalate and spiral out of control because of the "use them or loose them" strategy. If you don't use all your nuclear weapons you are likely to have them destroyed by the enemy's nuclear weapons. |

Can you imagine that in a time of peace at the end of the cold war, with the US recognised as the only superpower, the US military takes 68 cents of every tax dollar for defence, as against only 32 cents on everything else. And it's not enough, they want more. |

Many Americans believe that 19 cents on defense for every 81 cents on non-defense is a reasonable way to spend a tax dollar. But by another calculation, the tax dollar splits 68 cents for defense and 32 cents on everything else. It is a common misconception that U.S. defense expenditure is equivalent to the Department of Defense outlays. Instead of $436.4 billion of defense expenditure, as Congressional budgeteers count, government statisticians in the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) counted $548.0 billion for calendar year 2004a whopping $112 billion difference. And by our own calculations, U.S. defense expenditure is much higher than even the BEA's numbers suggest, namely $765.6 billion in calendar year 2004about $330 billion or than the Department of Defense outlays. |

He described how in the United States "great progress [had been] made towards the ideal of a propaganda-managed democracy", whose principal aim was to identify a rapacious business state "with every cherished human value". The power and meaning of true democracy, of the franchise itself, would be "transferred" to the propaganda of advertising, public relations and corporate-run news. This "model of ideological control", he predicted, would be adopted by other countries, such as Britain. |

There's a political movement afoot today in this country, and its aim is to gradually replace "democracy" as we know it with "biblical law." It's called "Christian Reconstructionism." It's real, and they are deadly earnest. Don't just take my word for it--do a bit of research and you'll find out how real it is. Unfortunately, the politics of corporate greed, power and plunder overlap conveniently with the grim theology of the Reconstructionists, and an unholy alliance has been formed, each finding advantage in assisting the advancement of the other. In the person of George W. Bush, theology and corporatism have merged and are indistinguishable from one another, producing a truly dangerous hybrid. |

Psychopathology of Bushism
Comment by Larry
Ross, February 15, 2005 Although this article below was written in 2003, it does illuminate some of the mysteries of why so many Americans seem to be taken in, and echo, Bush lies and why so many seem to deny the very threatening realities that confront them every day. Even so, the accumulated evidence is that the majority of voters did not vote for Bush to be President again in 2005, and that he only remains President because of various election frauds and the lack of opposition by his opponent - John Kerry. This accumulated evidence may be viewed on our website under US Elections for you to evaluate. There are several other factors to be considered. That because of the power and entrenchment of Bush, Bushism may go to extreme lengths to impose its version of reality. Another factor is their ambition to achieve a global empire by military conquest. In this setting, any opposition may be portrayed as evidence of terrorism. The more chaos and destruction, the more excuses Bushites can use with the American public to justify endless wars against terrorism and the more they can expand they think. The propaganda role of the US corporate media is essential in creating enough public support for Bush to make this possible. That means suppressing the facts, and keeping the frightening truths from the American people. So far the US corporate media have performed this role as well as the German media did for Hitler as he rose to power, made a dictatorship and took the German people into World War II. Bush is well along the road to creating an American dictatorship. If certain events happen, such as another 9/11 outrage ( See 9/11 Questions on this site } Bush may get the authority and law changes he needs to set up an American dictatorship. If these factors are taken into account, it seems that there is a crazy logic in what may seem as the counterproductive policies of the Bush administration. The essential difference between the Bush administration and previous attempts by others to create empires by conquest is that Bush has power no other conqueror could even dream of. Bush has the power to annihilate any state that opposes him and he has the beliefs to destroy the world if he thinks he is acting for God. In the heat of battle as he expands his wars in the Middle East and possibly elsewhere, it is increasingly possible, even probable, that nuclear weapons will be used. That could quickly escalate to a global nuclear war. Bush has Christian Fundamentalist beliefs that he is doing gods work in whatever he does whether it results in torturing people in Al Grahib and other prisons, or wiping out a nation. Millions of Americans agree. Finally, George Bushs religion includes a possible fiery Armageddon for all humanity as Gods judgement. Bush believes this was prophesied in the Bible. (see Dangers of Fundamentalism) Bushs lack of concern for the environment and global resources is explained by his beliefs that God will look after such concerns, especially if He intends, using Bush as an earthy instrument, to impose a judgement day, or Armageddon on humanity. I realise that to many readers this will seem too bizarre to be possible. If so, remember that our supposedly sane global society has lived on the brink of a nuclear self-annihilation for 60 years and, in spite of the end of the cold war, continues to work on the means to bring this about. Millions of people know that a nuclear holocaust has almost happened on several occasions, but they do nothing to prevent it or try and change the situation.. Its a huge industry employing millions of people and costing trillions of dollars. Many people have learned to accept this situation as necessary for global security reasons, or as part of the human environment. The authors say get smart, and then we will reclaim our Republic. I agree, we must be very sane, get very smart, take all the factors into account, and then be prepared to make the kind of sacrifices the religious right have made to make America what it is today, and is becoming. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
