Will Americans Wake Up In Time? Comment by Larry Ross, January 2, 2007
Robert Parry has an excellent record as one of the finest investigative journalists in the US and one of the most perceptive. I searched for his name on Google and came up with thousands of references to his articles going back to the Reagan Administration and before. He now publishes his own on-line news: "Consortium News". One reason is that the major media would not touch his honest journalism and exposure of the fraud and conspiracy of the Bush regime. Parry's article below reports that the Bush regime is planning to go ahead with its expansion of the Iraq war, and by nuclear bombing Iran. This parallels many other articles on this site which say the same thing. All predict very, very serious consequences in many areas. Parry also predicts there will be "some provocation that can be blamed on Syria and Iran, thus justifying the expanded war." My own prediction is that the "provocation" referred to by Parry, will be a vitally important False Flag operation. It would be very carefully planned by the Bush Administration to stage some kind of an attack, perhaps a terrorist attack on the US, like 9/11, for which the Bush Regime has planned to blame Iran. I would expect a very serious incident. I believe Bush needs a serious incident as a justifying excuse to jump the "no-nuclear-weapons" barrier and actually use nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear state not threatening anyone. It would be a huge fraud, an illegal step based on deceit, against all the traditions and laws of civilization. It could kill millions and more. All these horrific actions and decisions and risking of a massive slaughter, need credibility to take such a mad nuclear gamble, based on a 'False Flag' which he set up. It could easily escalate to an international war. Whatever happens few Americans are informed or educated about False Flag operations, and how Bush might use such an operation to justify making a nuclear attack on Iran . Not being prepared or informed, means that most Americans will believe the "False Flag' story about Iran making a terrorist attack on the US . They could never believe that Bush would stage a terrorist attack on the US . Hopefully this situation can be rectified in time, if enough concerned people help educate others through forwarding this article, researching the subjects, and becoming active. Parry's article seems so well-informed and full of important data and insights. I think you would find it valuable. For more info on : US War on Iran and related subjects, see this site.

Bush Could Usher in a Very Dangerous New Year By Robert Parry, Consortium News, Posted December 26, 2006
Intelligence sources say President Bush -- along with Israel's Ehud Olmert and the UK's Tony Blair -- are weighing the possibility of Israeli-led attacks on Syria and Iran in early 2007, with the United States providing logistical back-up. The first two or three months of 2007 represent a dangerous opening for an escalation of war in the Middle East, as George W. Bush will be tempted to "double-down" his gamble in Iraq by joining with Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair to strike at Syria and Iran, intelligence sources say. President Bush's goal would be to transcend the bloody quagmire bogging down U.S. forces in Iraq by achieving "regime change" in Syria and by destroying nuclear facilities in Iran, two blows intended to weaken Islamic militants in Iraq, Lebanon and the Palestinian territories. The Israeli army and air force would carry the brunt of any new fighting albeit with the support of beefed-up U.S. ground and naval forces in the Middle East, the sources said. Bush is now considering a "surge" in U.S. troop levels in Iraq from about 140,000 to as many as 170,000. He also has dispatched a second aircraft carrier group to the coast of Iran. So far, however, Bush has confronted stiff opposition from the Pentagon's Joint Chiefs of Staff to the plan for raising troop levels in Iraq, partly because the generals don't think it makes sense to commit more troops without a specific military mission. |
