US To Commit Mass Genocide In Iran Comment by Larry Ross, February 20, 2007
Bush is already one of history's most monstrous war criminals having lied to gain support for his illegal invasion and bombing of Iraq and killing some 500,000 Iraqis as well as provoking a civil war there. Now he is close to committing a far greater genocide crime with his 'Operation Iranian Freedom' involving the US bombing of some 10,000 targets in Iran. He may use nuclear weapons, as suggested by other articles, or conventional weapons as suggested here. Either way there will be thousands of Iranians murdered, perhaps millions, by Bush's assault in cold blood for no legitimate reason. With the crazy logic of Bush's tiny group of neocon madmen, anything goes. It could trigger a nuclear world war III leading to a global conflagration. The ever-obedient media has apparently banned the Iran issue from public debate and discussion. They are maintaining a bubble of ignorance over the public except for Internet articles which they can't control - yet. The necons will not hesitate to kill any amount of civilians, take any risks, and destroy countries to achieve their evil plan to dominate Middle East oil resources. Everything is in place and the US is working hard to provoke Iran into some kind of military action that can be twisted and exaggerated by Bush into his excuse to commence 'Operation Iranian Freedom'. Or the US may stage a false flag operation involving attacking the US and blaming Iran, as a justification to commence war on Iran. The media will repeat whatever nonsense justification Bush offers and justify his every crime, as they have his Iraq war. Most people will believe the lies, no matter how improbable and absurd. The anti-Iran propaganda has been successful, with most Americans fearing Iran as the chief US enemy, and most approving military action against Iran. The peace movement is almost moribund and is unlikely to be a significant factor in opposing this well-planned and publicised genocide. The world may be forever changed, if not destroyed. People will wish they had done more to stop Bush during the small time that remains. However, once genocide begins and a series of disasters follow, there is no road back and no second chances.
