Bush's War On Iraq is Totally Evil

Comment by Larry Ross, June 10, 2007

Paul Craig Roberts is one of the best commentators on the US war on Iraq, the Bush Administration and what's going on in Washington. He is long term insider with top credentials. (see the end of his article) This article is one of his 'best of the best'. He sums up the situation in a few words.

The only reservation I would addis that I think Bush will stage a 'false flag so-called terrorist attack' on the US (or something similar) blame Iran's 'treachery and terrorism' and then this as a justification to launch a pre-emptive nuclear attack on Iran with the support of the American people. Americans will be fooled again and swallow any accusation Bush offers, as they did with his litany of lies to justify the war on Iraq. They have not been educated about how the US and other states have used covert 'false flag' operations and then blamed the nation they wish to attack. They have been conditioned to believe a similar litany of lies about Iran and most now regard Iran with fear and hate, as do the Republicans below. The 'false flag' provides them with phony 'justification' for an attack and they will believe Iran did it.

Very few politicians, media, ordinary Americans or other countries will dare to question or probe whatever evidence Bush offers for this crime.

Because most people are not knowledgeable about 'false flag operations', it will seem to be a too far out theory to consider possible. So their response may be to reject both the meat in the original article as well as the article itself. Like top Republicans, they are ready to nuke Iran even before the false flag.

Remember: in this case it's my theory, not that of Paul Craig Roberts whose article below remains as "the best of the best".

The very idea of 'false flags' may seem ridiculous and improbable. But even Former US National Security Advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski are among the many who authored the million articles you will find on this subject if you Google search "False Flag on Iran." So it is not a crazy 'conspiracy theory' of some crank, but a distinct possibility today that has been used many times in past history.

The Bush Administration has already proven with it's war on Iraq , that there is no bottom limit to the evil they may do or the extent of the lies they will use to justify that evil. The killing of some 655,000 Iraqis and over 3,200 American servicemen in the service to these lies is repeated proof of what I say. The Bush Administration has dug a very deep hole for itself. With declining popularity and increasing public doubts, they must fight and create any number of additional lies to justify and add credibility to the original lies and new lies on Iran. That is another reason why a phoney false flag justification for a nuclear war is not far fetched. It's very possible in today's circumstances with a Bush Agenda of US global domination. That is a huge, complicated very bloody agenda.

The state of emergency, martial law, scale of destruction and panic after a nuclear attack would stop any investigations and banish or outlaw any public doubts. Bush already has put the legislative machinery in place so that he can assume total control of the US in an emergency and enact any laws he likes to deal with dissenting domestic elements.

All I ask is that people at least reserve judgement and do there own research on this subject before coming to a conclusion.

Those who now agree and who wish to prevent a US war on Iran, or at least reduce the potential for a receptive audience for a 'false flag' on Iran, can help by forwarding this comment and Robert's article to people, groups and other websites. There is also a rich source of information on "False Flags" and related subjects on this website.

The Real Reason for Bush's Invasion of Iraq
is a National Security Secret

by Paul Craig Roberts, June 8, 2007

American soldiers have been fighting and dying in Iraq since 2003, and Americans do not know why.

All the reasons President Bush gave us for his war are false. Bush said he invaded Iraq “to disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction, to end Saddam Hussein's support for terrorism, and to free the Iraqi people.”

We now know that these were false claims. Disinformation about Iraq was produced by a special unit within the Pentagon run by Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and Feith. The unit operated outside the normal intelligence channels of the CIA and DIA. Its purpose was to create false intelligence to enable Bush to initiate war with Iraq.

Did President Bush know that the claims put into his speeches by his speechwriters was false?

Who instructed Bush's speechwriters to incorporate known lies into the President's speeches?

Why did Vice President Cheney, the Secretary of State, the National Security Advisor, and the Secretary of Defense all lie to the American people and to the entire world?

What is the real agenda?

Millions of Americans have come to their own conclusions about the reasons for Bush's invasion: (1) Oil: the US government wants to hold on to power by expanding its control over oil, and Bush and Cheney want to reward their oil company cronies. (2) Military-security complex: Police agencies favor war as a means of expanding their power, and military industries favor war as a means of expanding their profits. (3) Neoconservative ideology: Neocons' believe in “American exceptionalism” and claim that America's virtue gives the US government the right and the obligation to impose US hegemony on the rest of the world, especially in the Middle East where independent Muslim states object to Israel's theft of Palestine. (4) Karl Rove: Rove used the “war president” role to rescue Bush from attack by Democrats as an illegitimate president elected by one vote of the US Supreme Court. (5) American self-righteousness over 9/11 and lust for revenge.

All of these reasons came together to make a cruel war on an innocent people.

There may be other reasons about which we know not.

As it is now recognized that every reason for the war is false or illegitimate, the question is: why does Bush insist on persisting with a costly war, the express reasons for which are now known to be mistakes? There were no weapons of mass destruction, no connections to al Qaeda, and Bush has installed a puppet Iraqi government that cannot venture outside the heavily fortified and US protected “green zone.” The Iraqi government governs nothing.

War without cause is murder, not war.
