Help Stop War On Iran

The "Stop War On Iran" organisation has summarised the Iran crisis below, and that Iran has no nuclear weapons, or program to build them, and has never initiated a war on any other state for the last 250 years. Therefore to portray it as a dire threat, because it is exercising it's legal right under the NPT to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes, is utter nonsense, and a cover for the planned US and Israeli attacks. It is even more ominous that the EU and UN have succumbed to US pressures and issued sanctions and warnings to Iran to give up it's nuclear enrichment program or else!
 
This situation is particularly ridiculous, when you know there are nine other nuclear weapon states, including Israel, which has some 200-400 nuclear weapons, and has a record of initiating wars and military attacks. The Iran crisis is a re-enactment of the pre-war Iraq crisis - using the same type of lies and false and twisted accusations as the US used before their illegal assault and occupation of Iraq, killing 655,000 Iraqis, and now a 'surge', or escalation, in their continuing massacre. How can Iran be a threat to the US, Israel or their allies, when they have many thousands of nuclear weapons and Iran has none?

US Attack on Iran by April 2007

This report is the first I've seen giving an actual date for the US attack as being before April 2007.

Our web site has many authoritative articles spelling out in detail the plans the US has made to attack Iran with nuclear weapons, and the horrendous, long term consequences of such an insanity. But Bush and Chaney are desperate men who rejected all counsel for moderation and negotiation. They know they could be indicted for multiple war crimes, such as lying to the American people in order to fool them into giving support for a war with Iraq. Also, they lied to Congress in order to get their approval for war, and opening up the US Treasury to unlimited plunder to make war and reward friends with no-bid contracts supposedly to rebuild Iraq after they have destroyed much of it through bombing. Bush and his regime have directly violated the US Constitution, international law, the Geneva Conventions and the UN Charter.

But if they initiate a new major war, they may try and justify introducing fascist controls and laws   in the US to suppress dissent and ensure compliance with their wishes. They have the power, and a very weak and ineffectual democratic opposition, that usually ends up giving them what they want. They have taken care to surround themselves with like-minded people in positions of power and fired those who advise against their extreme courses of action.

Insane as it may be, and although it may escalate into a very long war with many countries - even a global nuclear war - these desperate madmen have had a campaign preparing the US and the world for this war for a long time. Lately the US accusations against Iran , arresting its diplomats, and other to provoke it to some kind of retaliatory action, has increased. Any Iranian reaction to these growing US attacks, will be portrayed as evidence of 'Iranian terror' and used as justification for the US attack by  US propaganda and the US media machine.  Articles on our website confirm the many warnings we have issued during the last few years. Google has about one million articles posted on "US Nuclear war with Iran " so it has been widely publicised and expected.

The pro-war, pro-Bush mass media know this but have refused to inform and warn their readers and viewers about it.

Perhaps the biggest mystery is why there has been such limited and weak protest, and why so little action by those with power, wealth and influence to expose and stop this mad scheme. Perhaps it is the power of Bush's 'big lie' techniques which have already worked so well with his war with Iraq and phoney 'war on terror'. As Hitler wrote: "The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it". Bush has repeatedly demonstrated that this well-used technique works with the US people, Congress and Senate. It's working again for his carefully planned nuclear attack on Iran.

Only about 2 months, more or less, remain for people to act in some way to help prevent the madmen from imposing their new insanity on the world.

US military strike on Iran seen by April '07; Sea-launched attack to hit oil, nuclear sites

KUWAIT CITY: Washington will launch a military strike on Iran before April 2007, say sources. The attack will be launched from the sea and Patriot missiles will guard all oil-producing countries in the region, they add. Recent statements emanating from the United States indicate the Bush administration's new strategy for Iraq doesn't include any proposal to make a compromise or negotiate with Syria or Iran. A reliable source said President Bush recently held a meeting with Vice President Dick Cheney, Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Secretary of State Dr Condoleezza Rice and other assistants in the White House where they discussed the plan to attack Iran in minute detail.

According to the source, Vice President Dick Cheney highlighted the threat posed by Iran to not only Saudi Arabia but the whole region. “Tehran is not playing politics. Iranian leaders are using their country's religious influence to support the aggressive regime's ambition to expand,” the source quoted Dick Cheney as saying. Indicating participants of the meeting agreed to impose restrictions on the ambitions of Iranian regime before April 2007 without exposing other countries in the region to any danger, the source said “they have chosen April as British Prime Minister Tony Blair has said it will be the last month in office for him. The United States has to take action against Iran and Syria before April 2007.”

Claiming the attack will be launched from the sea and not from any country in the region, he said “the US and its allies will target the oil installations and nuclear facilities of Iran ensuring there is no environmental catastrophe or after effects.” “Already the US has started sending its warships to the Gulf and the build-up will continue until Washington has the required number by the end of this month,” the source said. “US forces in Iraq and other countries in the region will be protected against any Iranian missile attack by an advanced Patriot missile system.”
