Zionism Influences Most Of U.S. Foreign and Military Policy Comment by Larry Ross, August 16, 2006
Neo-conservatives with a strong pro-Israel bias create the policy papers which influence American thinking. Powerful well-funded, pro-Israeli lobby groups, with direct links to Israel and to Washington, lobby and donate to politicians that influence U.S. policy decisions. There is a well-known mass media bias for pro-Israel and pro-Israeli war articles. Israel has become a shining Beacon to the Bush Administration as it leads the way into the Middle East and disaster for millions of people. These essays explore the issues.

IF
AMERICANS KNEW: WHAT EVERY AMERICAN by Evan Augustine Peterson III, J.D., August 15, 2006
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- ------------------------- IF AMERICANS KNEW: WHAT EVERY AMERICAN NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT ISRAEL/PALESTINE "If Americans Knew" is the trailer for a new documentary film that explains how the Zionist government of Israel exercises inordinate influence over significant sectors of the American government and media. Strains of the hymn "Amazing Grace" play while the grey eminences of American diplomacy describe their experiences with Arabs under an Israeli occupation that is both authoritarian and cruel. The filmmaker interviews many retired career officers from the U.S. Foreign Service who express their revulsion at Israel's routine abuse of its "most favored nation" status. Now please watch the theatrical trailer for this soon-to-be-released film about Israel/Palestine: http://www.ifamericansknew.org/about_us/movie.html PLEASE ALSO VIEW

There is a sense that the growing number of crises in the "new Middle East," proudly midwifed by the Bush administration, is rapidly spinning out of control with potentially catastrophic consequences for the entire region and beyond. Many of these foreign policy veterans have concluded that the Bush neocons really do intend to start a war with Iran.]: http://www.tompaine.com/articles/2006/08/11/new_middle_east_out_of_control.php [3] Stephen Lendman's 8-14-06 CounterCurrents essay, "Sham UN Resolution Guarantees No End To Israel's Illegal War Of Aggression" [UN Resolution 1701 is little more than an outrageous and illegal expression of victor's justice.
