Iran's Oil Bourse - Cause of War? Comment by Larry Ross, May 10, 2006
One of the many reasons Bush may decide to wage pre-emptive war against Iran is it's new oil trading centre as the following article shows. Iran's Oil Bourse could take a lot of business away from the U.S. and threaten it's economy. Also, Bush is building a new Empire according to his neocon advisors plan. Iran and it's oil are to be part of it. Then there is the religious reasons. If Bush makes war, particularly nuclear war as is planned. (Bush refuses" to take the nuclear option off the table") then it could bring on a global nuclear war. The Christian Fundamentalists, including Bush, would say that's a nuclear armageddon ordained by God, which is what they have been praying for . Another reason is that a new war brings new wealth to chosen contractors and boosts the military/industrial complex. Also it allows a speeding up of Bush's steps toward making fascism in America. A new Iran war, if skillfully done by the Bush war machine, would boost Bush's flagging popularity and help get fellow Republican's elected.in November 2006. There are a number of factors that could be influencing Bush's behaviour.

He told Germany's Bild am Sonntag newspaper that if Mr Ahmadinejad was ready to destroy one country (Israel), "then he would also be ready to destroy others". President Bush added: "This is a threat that needs to be dealt with."
Are the Iranian president's blustering statements towards Israel really the cause for this ominous proclamation from the US president? Or is it Iran's nuclear ambitions that have caused it? Or is the oil boil finally reaching its global critical temperature? The answer most probably lies in events likely to unfold in the very near future in a tiny Iranian island by the name of Kish.
